Can you believe it's the fifth week in a row at the flower zoo? What will we find today? The minute we enter, I see that the wisteria is making an appearance and I can already smell it. I'm in love!
Ahhhhh -
Starting toward the walkway and still in the main plaza - azaleas are just starting to come around.
However, the tulips are still absolutely wonderful.
Our first peek at the vegies - coming along nicely.
Downtown in the distance - "On a clear day"
Rounding the path down - more azaleas starting to wake up.
The Shade Garden has misters going and the whole thing is pretty ethereal.
Cherry blossoms!
Yes - tulips are still shining in the limelight, but their time is close to over.
Mr. Robin is posing for me -
Looking across I can see that the cherry trees are truly wonderful. Heading there soon.
But first - a few trees are back here.
With a few more azaleas. These bushes are LOADED with buds and next week is going to be phenomenal.
Mister found another beauty - add in the roots and it's too cool.

The quince is hanging on - but it's time has come and gone as well.
These white tulips are heavenly - truly.
In the White Garden - azaleas almost there.
Red Maple Rill - I can't wait for next week.
Even though it is not fully red yet - the maples are indeed wonderful
Love their little blossoms. No flowers ever appear though.
Just more garden area
The grotto - in pretty light - behind that waterfall lies the koi nursery.
Ya gotta look close in the second picture, but the babies are there.
Mister doing his thing - every week. Why can't people quit messing with the sculptures?
Oh - this is just starting to be amazing. One of the workers told us it had just popped this morning.
Once upon a time we could walk through this - not any longer.
Leads to the Children's Garden
More tulips before I can only enjoy them in photos for another year. YES - that is why I do this. Flowers just make my heart so happy.
Right up by the Camp House -for some reason - the azaleas are in full bloom.

Looking to the Rose Garden - they have all leafed out - yay! Upcoming beauty headed our way.
Just a nice planting. Love the spotted petunias.
Ya gotta look up and down all the time.
So - these two trees leaf/needle/blossom out uniquely. I don't know what the first one is but the second was highlighted in last weeks post.
This little wren was singing to us.
Wisteria in the Women's Garden.
A few last looks for this week - tulips
As we leave, a beautiful young woman in her quinceanera dress - lovely.
Next stop is White Rock Lake - just to walk and enjoy a bit.

Cedar knees coming on strong.
Coots, in abundance. A few Mallards for good measure.
These two didn't care that I was there. They had found a treasure too good to part with.
