The sun is starting to set and we are on our way to the levee -- for what we hope will be the perfect vantage point.
Isn't it fascinating that the direction you look changes the whole light of the picture? There is a party happening on the bridge, but we're just happy to sit over here and relax.
Watching the lights of the city come on.
We really do have a great view.
Gotta be getting close now.
And away we go --- I tried to take pictures, but Mister pushed the camera down and said to just enjoy the moment so I only have a few.
This one shows just how close everything was to us.
All I can say is WOW! This was truly the best fireworks display I have ever seen. It went full blast the entire time and both of us were in awe. It's on our list for next year now --- no more fighting crowds. This has been a magical night and . . .
we don't have to get in our car and fight traffic just yet. Back to the brewery to listen to music for a short time. The roads clear and we have no issues driving home. Love, love, love the date Mister.
