Pumpkins and Wizard of Oz at the Arboretum

It's Sunday.  That means our Anniversary week is coming to a close.  So sad.  Not really.  It has been so fun and I have enjoyed each part of it.  We are finishing it out this morning with an early morning walk at the Arboretum.  As we arrive, the rain has stopped and yet there is still moisture sitting on the plants.  I can't take any pictures just yet, but I'm not in the gates so I grab a quick one of these Tarul (elephant ear) plants.

Just walking for an hour is so wonderful.  Cameras not allowed as the gardens are not officially open until later keeps my phone in my pocket.  Once we are able to take a few pictures, we walk the area again and backtrack a bit for the spots that really caught our attention.  I'm just going to take you on an eye candy trip with minimal comments.  Enjoy.

Pumpkins everywhere.

Love this picture.

Water on roses --- simply divine.

The Pecan Grove holds "The Wizard of OZ" Pumpkin Village this year and is such fun.

And that's about it.  This last couple are fun -- one is a pond with ducks/geese in the water.  Look close.  The second is my sweet man, once again offering to take a family picture for someone.  He's the best.  We are off to just 'lax today.  Sounds perfect.  The calm before the storm this week.  See ya later.
