Making Merry with Jason and Family

We are off to the movies (with Fandango tickets) first thing this morning when I notice that we have a text from Jason asking if we want to help them decorate their tree.  Well, dang - how can we make this happen?  We make a quick trip to the theater to find out if we can switch our tickets for another day and as amazing as it seems, we can.  So cool.  We reroute toward Jason's in no time and find that they have a new tree to put up.  Mister opens the box to find a pre-lit tree in three simple pieces and quickly has it ready to decorate.

Cecilia and Sabrina, along with Tina (Mom) are on hand as well.  What a fun time.
We start in.  Tina can't find a tree skirt so I channel my "She's Crafty" inner soul and take some blue fabric and a really long twist tie.  I weave in down the stip until I have a bright blue skirt.  It will do.  Meanwhile, ornaments are going on the tree.

Yep, that's me trying to put the skirt in place.

We need Mister to help at the top.  Everyone else is pretty dang short around here.

Three lovely ladies.

I am trying to put some flowers back into shape.  They actually turn out pretty cool.

Jason (Dad) happily watches everyone work.

And one of the family (minus Jade) with a finished tree.  What a fun morning and we have set a date for dinner at our house next week.  Looking forward to it.  Thanks, for letting us share your day.
