Real Ale Dinner

Ah Mister -- You wonderful man you.  He has bought tickets to a Real Ale dinner hosted by Whole Foods at which the owner, Brad Farbstein, will be there.  Lucky me.  Let's go have some wonderful food paired with great beer.  We all gather together for visiting and to sample the Hans Pils.  Then it is off to the dining area.  First up:  Hatch Chile Chicken Arancini paired with Firemans 4.  These are just so dang yummy.


The second course is:  Brown Butter Seared Scallops with Sweet Potato Sage Cous Cous and Roasted Pear Beurre Blanc.  The pairing is Lost Gold IPA.  My mouth is just oh so happy right now.


Third course:  Chargrilled NY Strip Steak with a Black Cherry Glaze and Roasted Root Vegetable Puree paired with Coffee Porter.  Ooooh can this get any better?


And the grand finale is:  Pumpkin Ginger Creme Brulee paired with Commisar Stout.  OMG. This is amazing and I LOVE the beer.

What a fun evening filled with lots of information given by a wonderful host.  Thank you, Brad, for sharing your time with us.  Loved it all.
