Annual Autumn (Perhaps Winter) Journey to Montana - Week 3 - 1st half

The beginning of our 3rd week has us going into Kalispell to run some errands.  Home Depot and Costco fill the needs and apparently, my closet as well.  I grabbed two more shirts and a pair of gloves - both to stay here.  The two shirts I bought earlier were the exact same and I LOVE them so they will go home with me.  We got back to the house and Mister wasn't quite done being out of the house for a bit.  We went back into Bigfork and walked around to see the Scarecrow Contest.  Each business that participated had one out front.  Had we done this last week, they wouldn't be covered in snow, but it is what it is.  Right?  Walk along and enjoy the fun.

Also, a couple of sculptures to share -

Flathead Brewing is the next stop - to warm up and enjoy a little more time together.  Yummy and wonderful conversation with the bartender.  All in all --- a nice time.

The sunset has begun and I get a quick pic before I miss it all.  Went home to watch the Rangers game and that was just plain awful -- they pretty much were owned by Arizona.  Onto game 3 in Arizona on Monday.

29th -  I'm running out of month and behind on a lot of things so this morning was sew, sew, sew.  Then, shower and dress to go to town and pick up all the items for dinner tonight.  We are celebrating Mom's birthday tonight and the family is coming over.  Fun times ahead.  Watch and share in our fun.

My nephew, Zach, made it into town just hours ago and surprised us all by being here with everyone else.  How fun is this?

Starting to open gifts - has some help.

I managed to surprise her -

I think she likes it.

Show and share time -

LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!  84 years young.

Great-Gammy with all her attending littles.

Even paper makes a fun toy.

It's time ----

Mom and her cake.

Zach finds a fun toy and gets everyone to play.  Even Gam.

The afternoon is coming to an end --- selfie time with the greats.

With a few less people in the house --- Uncle can play with Avrielle.  Then, all too soon, they depart as well.  We'll get pics on Halloween since we know we'll see them then.  It was a WONDERFUL afternoon with everyone.

30th - Happy Real Birthday to Mom.  We get the chance to spend some time, just us two.  Lunch at Burgertown on the last day of the season for them.  YUM.

Sis stops by later and we get the chance for a pic of all three.  I'm so thankful for these each year.

Game three in the evening.  Woot woot.

31st - Happy Halloween!!  Mister is out walking Bailey early this morning.  It's dang chilly out there and I'm letting him enjoy it all - all by himself.

Our friendly little buck has gotten a little more brave today.  He's right down by the patio nibbling on some grass.

Jill and her family arrive for some trick or treating --- Uncle is happy to help with full size candy bars.

Perhaps a pic or two?  Will they cooperate?

We all get a wee bit of time to play.  Avrielle with Great-Gammy

And Greyson with Auntie -- silly boy.

Uncle and Avrielle -

Greyson checks out a new  coloring book - paint with water.

And we grab a family pic.  Hard to get both kids still at the same time.

Just a short time later, another knock at the door and more trick or treaters.  Zach and his family have arrived.  GREAT costumes!!!

Time for treats!

Family pic.

Now - we still have this much left.  Guess there will be a sugar high for the next few days.

Next ---- game 4 is on and the Rangers means business tonight.  However, they certainly made me nervous.  The win is in the books and onto game 5 tomorrow.  Whew.  See ya then.
