Annual Autumn (Perhaps Winter) Journey to Montana - Week 3 - 2nd half and home

All Saints Day - We are still in Montana and it's been a busy day.  I made a trip into town to run errands and managed to get in 10 stops in an hour.  Yep, woman on a mission.  First, I went to the lake to take a selfie in a hoodie, then stopped to have the oil changed in Mom's car, downtown to take another selfie in same hoodie, gas in the car, stop at drug store for my sister, up to liquor store for friends (honest), bank to put money in Mom's account for cleaning lady, post office to mail previously said hoodie to Wyoming, get mom's mail on the way home and one last stop to drop off purchase from drug store with my sister. I did it!!

While at the drug store -- noticed that there is some tree trimming going on. What a mess.

Mom was getting a perm from her friend Candy while I was running around.  I did manage to get a picture of them before she left.  Good friends for almost 50 years.

Evening fun was a trip to Kalispell (with a stop at Costco to exchange my shirts for a smaller size - NO idea what I was thinking when I bought them) and then to dinner at the Alley Connection with Jill and family.  Love these Uncle moments.

Auntie times are pretty fun too.

All together now ---- this will have to do until January.

We made it back to the house by the 6th inning of the game and NOONE had scored yet.  Then, things changed and the Rangers did it.  They won the World Series for the first time.

Even Google has fireworks all over the page.

Mister is off to bed, but something strange is happening with him and Bailey and the dog won't look him in the eye.  Too funny.

Team picture --- stolen as it was being taken.  Hahahaha.  A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

The celebration in downtown Dallas is amazing.  With that, I'll call it a night.

2nd - We are not too active today.  The most I did was get all the totes for Christmas into the house.

Our great-nephew, Wyatt, has a basketball game this afternoon so Uncle and I are off to be a bit supportive.  We were able to watch him play and visit with Zach and Rebecca at the same time.  I got quite a few good pictures.  Enjoy.  He is number 22.

While there, Mister asked me about the log for the Vikings that was painted on the gym walls.  I explained that it was a V for Vikings and the horns from a Viking hat.  He informed me that all he saw was a penis.  Now that's all you see too --- fun, right?

Stopped and picked up some lasagna for dinner and relaxed for the evening.

3rd -   Today is a very busy day.  I hit the ground running - that is when I finally got out of bed.  Yep, I slept in.  Then - laundry going, have to pack today AND the house needs to be decorated for Christmas.  Kick it in gear girl.  I took some pictures because each year Mom wants to put things in the same place and I can't always remember where that was.  Now I can.

The last thing for today ---- the tree.

We did it!  I'm one tired girl, but the laundry is done, we are packed, and the house is finished.

Sis and Joe stopped by to visit for awhile and we were supposed to have dinner down at Montana Bonfire with Brad and Sherri (neighbors) but they had to cancel.  So, we punted and went to Riley's because Mom was craving a steak.  Perfect.  She got a very large one.  I had a mushroom/steak/fettucine dish that was so good and Mister opted for a cheeseburger that was not so great.  Always a chance.

Home for a wee bit and then off to bed.  The alarm will ding at 3 and we need to be on the road by 3:15.  It's been a wonderful three weeks and I'm glad I remembered to take a picture with Mom on her birthday, cos I forgot tonight.  Hugs to all and we'll see you in January (post is not over).

4th - A VERY early morning drive, check-in goes smooth, we get boarded and then . . .

It's amazing, but my luggage made it as well and our Lyft driver was super prompt.  Once home, we headed right back out for some Pho.  When we were supposed to go to the Bonfire last night, it was for Pho, Pho, Pho Friday and Mister was very sad.  Now, he's happy and we tried a new spot as well.  Yum!  A stop at Jimmy's for some pasta and sauce supplies and then home to sit in a heap.  I'm done.
