Thanksgiving Time w/Family

It's the day before Thanksgiving.  The house is clean and I've met Jen in Grapevine to take a glass together.  Here is the LINK to the Vetro Glass post I did sharing all of our fun.  We have a great time and even wander Main Street in Grapevine for a bit.

Then it's time for me to get back to the house and pick up Mister so that we can meet Jen and her whole family for dinner at Cane Rosso.  As I'm leaving Grapevine, this tree is just so beautiful and the  moon is peeking out near the top.  Do you see it?

Onto Cane Rosso --- I'm adventurous tonight and go for a cocktail.  Yay me.  It is called, "I'm Your Huckleberry" so I guess I'm channeling Montana tonight.  Yum.

A quick shot of the whole gang, including Jen's foreign exchange student, Max.  After dinner, we all played some games at the house and then, since they have a hotel here in Dallas for tonight, we said our "see ya tomorrow's".

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Mister and I have been up and at it for quite awhile, getting all the parts for dinner ready to go.  When Jen's family arrive, it's calm and they have a chance to play some games,

or watch a movie.

Mister hard at work.  The turkey is being prepared and he's got the aromatics being prepped.

More join the movie.  Nightmare before Christmas.

After the movie --- back to games.

Ooooh, yum.  These are ready to go into the turkey.

A few hours later, things kick into gear and the table is prepared.  This is just too funny.

Food is coming out -

And it is time to feast.

After dinner and ALL the dishes are cleaned up, we are off to a movie.  Tonight it is the new Hunger Games flick ---we shall see.  But, before we go: a group pic real quick.  These kids - some of them just don't understand that I'm old and want a nice picture.  Argh.  Well, that's it for us.  Hope your Thanksgiving was just as fun.
