More Yard Work --- It Never Ends

 You know how there are certain things that just make one cringe.  Pulling the tubs down from the attic is one of ours.  Ugh.  However, by 11:30 we have accomplished it.  Let the season begin.

I have created a mess all through the house.  Yes, I love this time of year, but it is also a very challenging time.  I have company coming on the 1st so will be doing a "clean a room - decorate a room" thing.  It's gonna take a few days, but the house will be ready for company AND a party by the time I'm done.

The big questions is:  Where do I start?

Well - truth be told, it's gorgeous outside and I stop to take a few pictures - all in our yard.  The leaves are beautiful, but dropping so quickly that it is hard to keep up.

Offering to help, we clean up all of the leaves, including the ones in the beds, (and they can't be bagged this time because we don't any have anyplace to store the bags for a month) and pile them in a massive stack in the backyard.  Then, we move onto spreading all the mulch that Mister has bought.  We'll need more, but for today, the front is finished.

The next task is to put up the lights outside and it's 5:30 and dark by the time we finish.  We have not gone inside the entire time.  Two very tired oldsters here.  But --- it looks good, right?
