
A little history on zoo to the left. I think I've shared this before, but it's been years.

So many of the animals have decided that their inside habitats are better than outside today. We've noticed that the doors to many are open, but no takers. A few birds here and there --
And then . . .the tiger is up close. We are about 6 feet from her at this point. How fun.


The only taker was a parrot that the keeper put on Mister's hand.
The Koi are sparkling in the sunlight. Did you know these are here? Ya gotta check out the Children's Zoo more often.
Also at the Children's Zoo is this Nine-Banded Armadillo. Look close and you can see his long, scraggly hairs (resembling whiskers). Love it.
Our second stop is at the Dallas Farmer's Market, where our only purchase is lunch. So, so good.
