Road Trip - Days 16-22 - Bigfork and Travel to Billings

We are halfway through June and loving the weather and time with family.  This morning we went to Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast and met up with Jill and her family.  The grounds around the restaurant are simply beautiful.

Peonies abound this year.  We stopped in next door at a coffee shop after our meal.  It's a cute shop and Avrielle found a fun place to play.

For the afternoon, we went in to Kalispell as Mister wanted to get some shopping done.  At a certain point, we just give up and find a place to sit and wait for him in Lowe's.

We've noticed some odd flowers in Mom's yard and I'm thinking they are not good ones.

I didn't have any pictures for a couple of days and one of them is highly regretted.  We took a drive down to Yellow Bay State Park to just sit and enjoy the water.  Along the way, a bear was crossing the highway in front of us and I have no proof.  Argh.  Why did we choose THAT time to leave both phones at home?

6/19 -  One of the items Mister bought in town was a new ladder.  It's one he has wanted for quite awhile and will just leave it up here for now.  He's now cleaning out all the gutters around the house for Mom.

Sis and Joe, along with Jill and kids are down for dinner tonight.  It's so nice to have some time together.

Desert is the BEST part.

Greyson building himself a pillow fort.

6/20 - When Mister got off work today, a trip to Bigfork for a nice evening of music ensued.

Isn't this just beautiful --- right along the river?

From the bridge on the way home.

6/21 - Our time is nearing an end here so dinner together down at the lake seems the thing to do.  When we arrive, I wander a bit to take in the view and spot several goose families.

Looking back at our dinner venue.

Oh, I want this to last a bit longer.

Family time --- the BEST time.  This is the ONLY time that Avrielle stays put - when she is asleep.

I think I got everyone.  Jill and her family, Zach and two of his kids, Sis and Joe, and Mom join us for the evening.

Ahhh - Jill and I.

Ahhh - it's not often I get these two together.  Brother and Sister love.

The geese have landed - we should go and check them out.

This was a great evening together.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the family gatherings so much these days.
We said good-bye to all until fall and hugs all around.

6/22 - It's time to go.  Love ya Momma.  See you in October.

Our first stop heading towards the Swan is County Line Coffee for a drink to take along.  Look how loaded down our car is - crazy.

View of Swan Lake

Also, Seeley Lake.

Lunch stop is Bridger Brewing just outside of Three Forks.

Yummy and hit the spot for the rest of the drive to Billings.  We got in at a fairly decent time and enjoyed pizza with Matt and his family.  Onto the next stage of the trip.
