Road Trip - Days 3 & 4 in Provo, UT

Yay for time with grands and my daughter.  I treasure this each year as we get a chance to reconnect and talk while spending time with the littles.  Today, I've left Mister alone at the house so he can work and am off to the library for some fun.

Don't ya just love to see kids love reading?

There was an I spy cabinet to conquer -- it took a bit, but we did it.

Castles coming into being.

Next - we are heading off for a haircut for JP

While he and Cassie handle that end,

The rest of us are off to play.

Torsten found this car and decided it was HIS!!  He would stand at the entry and holler, "All aboard,"

Later in the afternoon,  I went back to the house to pick up Grandpa.  He wasn't quite done and I needed a pen to write on Ava's quilt label, so I made a trip to a local quilt shop.  Here is a LINK

A little arts and crafts in the evening with Mairead.  Always fun.

We have a nice time with all for the evening and it includes a special dessert menu.  Super cute and creative.  After our treats, it was time to depart and head back to our little house.  Mister has to work again tomorrow.

6/4 - I'm up a bit earlier this morning and working on a project for a bit before heading over to Cassie's.  Can you see the letters?

It's time for fun!  See ya later, Mister.  Grands are calling.  Some selfie love - Ophelia.

Ava

JP - post haircut, looks pretty good.

Now for some fun - we are off to Thanksgiving Point and the carousel is up first.

I rode with the first time, the second time, I'm going to just watch.

Waiting for that third and final ride.

And away we go into the Butterfly House.  I really enjoy this place and see something new each time.

Letting out some energy before actually going to see the butterflies - such a smart layout and plan.

Ahhhh - it is just so beautiful in here.

There is a release happening right now -- fun to watch.  She just helps the butterflies out of the net carrier and away they go.

Yep, it's two of them.  Hmmmn.

My turn -

And Cassie -

Checking out a really big bug - notice my hand is not in there.

That was it and after a stop to grab lunch, it was back home and I was off to get Grandpa.  For our evening time, a walk to the park, complete with treats.

Slightly straggling behind.

Cass and I take time for a little fun.

Simply - ahhhh.

Someone found a friend.  Hugs like they haven't seen each other in months.

We had a nice time and then enjoyed the walk back, spent some time playing games and headed off to our house once again.  What a fun day.
