My "New" Cheers Bar --- So Much Fun!

I've been at a Christmas party all afternoon and my sweet man has been wandering the city alone.  When he retrieves me, he asks if I have any other requirements.  Nope, I'm all his and he says to locate a place called Guitars and Growlers, which is supposedly close to us.  It is -- and we are soon on our way.

From the minute we walk in, I love it.  Seriously.  There are times when the vibe is just perfect and this is one of those.  Every single employee spoke with us and introduced themselves.  A group was setting up for an event and the band was just getting going.  Live local music takes the stage here several nights a week.  We select a couple of beer and something for Mister to eat (I snacked like a crazy woman at the party).  Then to just settle in and enjoy.

I did not read the sign well and don't care for my beer at all.  It turns out that the manager is sitting right next to me and instantly changes it out for me.  We get to talking and I want to share that Sarah is such a joy to be around.  Within moments, I feel as though I have known her all my life.  I'm not exaggerating even a little bit with that statement.  Stop in, you won't regret it.

We soon have to make our departure and the return trip home as tomorrow is a "school day" for Mister.  Huge thanks to all whom we had the chance to share an evening with (Heather and Regina pictured below) and here's to many more.  Hope to see y'all real soon and hope everyone has the happiest of holidays.

  1. It is a special place, as well as the McKinney location! I play there once a month on Friday and hope to see you some time! I enjoy your writing.
