They are just thick and lush.
My fav!!! Love, love, love this picture. The sun was just coming over the tops of nearby trees and ooh la la.
Wave upon wave
My sweetie doing his thing. I can't wait to see HIS pictures.
Oh, that was zoomed in. Here is my real view of him.
Out the car window at a stop sign.
We took a few minutes to check out the Ennis festival and maybe Mister took pictures, but I just enjoyed the booths. I DID capture this one though and almost bought it.
We decided to check out one of the local "you can sit in bluebonnets" areas. Laying is almost sitting, right?
It's a beautiful stop and a chance to just walk around.
Oh, isn't she just so pretty?
After driving both loops and a stop in town, we are ready for lunch and a new brewery. Hello Cedar Creek in Seven Points. Nope, we are NOT going in the direction towards home. It's a free day and we can wander as far as we like.
Oh Val -- I saw this bench and thought of you.
Our next stop is a flea market and I spot this thread. If I only had an embroidery machine. I try to contact someone I know that does, but no go. Leaving it behind.
We are back in the direction of Dallas when we spot Trade Days at Seagoville. Well, why not? It's a four dollar entrance and believe it or not, we cannot come up with more than two in cash and that includes change. It's four o'clock in the afternoon and the lady takes pity on us and lets us in. A small hike then ensues as we are parked a LONG way out.
Nature is calling but one peek and I just can't do it. We'll find another one.
A carnival is even set up for the kids.
About this time, Mister looks at me and asks if we just went back to Peru. Oh my. We have indeed left the country by all appearances and we stand out just a bit. No worries --- let's see what wonders are here. Rounding the first corner, I spot this fruit stand. Oh my goodness.
A man walks by with this delightful cucumber concoction in his hands and I have to stop him and ask. Oh wow.
As I take his picture and a few more, another man tells me that I can get a cool video around the side of the booth.
He was right --- how fun is this?
Aqua frescas in so many flavors.
I soon discover that these fruit booths are scattered all over the grounds. OH YUM!
At one corner, a band is playing and I stop to watch and listen. It isn't until Mister points out the bucket that I crack up.
Music and dancing --- perfect.
A couple of hours later, we have wandered up and down all the rows and delighted in each and every one of them. What a fun afternoon and we will go back again. Loved every bit of this event and I never left Texas.
