Today's port is Costa Maya, Mexico and we really don't have any plans. Last time here, we did do an excursion and saw a bit more of the area. Here is the 2024 LINK if you wish to see more about this part of the world.
I'm up and watching us come into port - looks like we have company today.
We're just going into the port for a peek and bit of shopping.
Stopping for a bit to watch the pole-climbers/flyers.
So much activity all around -
We walk over to the dolphin area and I notice overhead walkways. Wondering how to get into them, I take off on the hunt. Turns out the entrance is right at the flamingoes.
Apparently it also includes a visit to an aviary. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm off on my own.
Into a building I go and this is what greets me - tunnels.
Which opened up into an enclosure - ahhhh aviary. This area is full of Java Sparrows - new to me.
When you leave one area, there is a walk along the raised walkway and then into another hut/aviary. This one has Jandaya Parakeets.
Next up are Eastern Rosella and Golden Pheasant
Well - there's my ride.
Next up is Love Birds -
Finally, I've made it to the dolphin area.
Super fun to see the training in process.
Waterfowl on the rocky shores.
One last aviary with Sun Parakeets
The views are pretty cool.
As I'm nearing the exit - these wonderful Macaws take posts to watch.
I've met up with Kelly and Gwen once again and we are heading back to the ship. A few more sights along the way.
As we walk the pier, a small plane keeps doing flybys.
Balcony time -
Our greeter
That's it - we're outta here and heading back out to sea.
If you clicked the link at the top of the post, you likely saw more pictures from tonight's show. It's a good one. The second time around, one understands Soulbound More.
