Dallas Blooms w/Mister

This year has been challenging to find time to thoroughly enjoy Dallas Blooms.  Some years we manage weekly visits and, yet, this year, not.  I went with my niece last week and have finally made it here with my sweetie.  The tulips are about gone, but the azaleas are FABULOUS.  Enjoy the eye candy and I'll share some fun along the way.  Upon our arrival, we were sent through a different gate for the early morning walk.  At the front gate, people were lining up for an Easter event that included breakfast, pictures, and an egg hunt.  This was our first view.

When we arrived at the main lawn, it was littered with eggs as the workers were preparing for the "hunt".

Off to the azaleas.

A few furry friends are preparing to make themselves scarce as people start encroaching.

Where do I look?  One would think I'd never done a selfie before.

Love, love, love the wisteria.  It's not quite full bloom right now, so the smell is not as intense as I like.

However, I do manage to find a few to smell.

Back to the main lawn to watch the children.  None of them are ours or related to us, but still fun to watch.

The chaos of the main lawn is behind and we are in the serenity of the white garden.

Simply gorgeous Japanese Maples in bloom.

Tulips do still exist, but they are definitely on their last legs.  Still so pretty.

Azalea Row.

Did someone lose a shoe?

Before the bloom and leafing out.

It was a beautiful morning walk.  Onto Garland and a hunt for a new breakfast cafe.

Tanya's wins.

We split an Immunity (very orange and orange flavor forward) and have a wonderful meal.

That's it for our morning.  See ya later.
