Every year I look forward to a day when the gardens are in full bloom. We haven't had the weekends to visit that we did in the past, but this morning, we are on the way. They are not completely at full bloom, but if that were the case, the tulips would be totally gone, so I'm happy with this stage. Come along and enjoy the eye candy. Not much commentary.
The White Garden - my fav.
Pure Texas - Magnolias and Azaleas.
Tulips glowing in the morning light.
Hey there Ben -
Gotta admit, wisteria is probably my all-time favorite flower. And the aroma is heavenly.
They'll be gone soon though -
The babies are growing - love the little nursery this mama has found in the pond.
Looking towards White Rock Lake from the grassy knoll where concerts are held. Check out the birds - one flock after another.
These two wait patiently for the lawn maintenance to come by (it's member morning so we're here before official opening) and then return to their desired location.
Red Maple Rill is starting to glow.
An old coot and an old tree.
Reflection pond and White Rock Lake
Entering the sea of azaleas.
The standard picture - to show changes. Got a little help from the sun here.
And that's it for this trip. Hope the beauty lifted your soul as it did ours.
