Mister's Birthday - We're the same age again!

We celebrated Mister's birthday while in Hawaii upon our return he was treated to calls, songs and cards from others in the family.  First up are the cards from Raef and Ryan -- oh my.  If you can get close enough to read -- make sure you do.  They are priceless.  Nothing is ever allowed on the fridge, but these made it there.

Dinner with our friend Jennie at 20 Feet Seafood Joint, Marc Cassel's new place in our neighborhood.  It is a BYOB and Jennie brought Mister a bottle of wine which he lovingly wrapped with his napkin.  Cute.

Marc Cassel stopped by and so a quick picture with a horrid background, oh well.

Our meal was wonderful.  Appetizers were Fresh Oysters, Steamed Mussels, and Fried Calamari.  Yum.  We also enjoyed dinner and everything was oh so good.

Two days later we went to spend the afternoon with Misters family for a birthday gathering.  After a Chinese lunch at Little Hunan, we returned to Mom Hayter's home for dessert, visiting, and fun.

Brother Rick and Nephew Bob were along for the day and it was delightfully fun.

Later the same day, we were off to Scott and Cassie's for a birthday dinner.  Cass prepared a wonderful meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli.  Topping it off was a banana cream pie.  I love her huge kitchen and she looks just like she is hosting a cooking show.  So fun

While waiting for dinner, these two minds went to work cleaning the calendar off so that Cass could start a new one.  Funny part is ---- is this as two-person job?

It was a great day and the birthday season is officially over.  What a fun two weeks.  Can't wait for the next season -- oh wait --- it is MY season soon.  Woohoo.
