Changing of the Seasons in the House 2024

 It's that time of year once again.  The process of going from autumn to holiday decor.  It always happens in stages and so - here we go:

Nov. 27th - This is where the house is with my return from retreat.  What a mess!  The big bag contains some new items purchased while in Burleson.

Let's start with linens that are stored in the main house.  My Santa is from the trip to Montana in October.

The start also has to include packing up all the fall items.  In order to pack up, one must gather.

 

I think I made it worse.

December 4th - A week later and I'm back at it.  In all fairness, we were gone for a few days.  I have been a whirlwind the last two days but didn't take pictures.  All fall is back in the attic and most of Christmas is up - the tree remains.

5th - Final touches going in everywhere.  I've started setting up for the party.

7th -  It's party time and the house is ready.  I have a couple of new decorations for this year - one is this centerpiece.

The second one is these vases.  Love them so much.

Okay - so a trip through the house before people arrive.  Red and white everywhere, inside and out.
