Out --- we want out. It's been a crazy, stress-filled week and a bit of a break is desired. With Octoberfest running rampant in the metroplex, checking out the closest bit of un seems okay this early afternoon. Vector has a special event running and even has a small art fair. Why not?
One booth at the fair really catches my eye. It's a company called Color My Cookie. SUCH a great idea. You can send the kits to grands everywhere. I LOVE IT. Each kit comes with cookies already baked and frosted, sprinkles, paint brushes and a palette with food colors that use a bit of water and the cookies are painted. How fun is this?
However, the rest of the time at Vector really wasn't anything special. I am hungry and we wanted one of their bratwurst corn dogs but they were out. Time to punt and I share with Mister that Mediterranean sounds good. He agrees and locates a place we have been to before.
OMG --- If you like Mediterranean food, you MUST give this place a visit. It was just divine and I am already planning a return trip. I can honestly say I have never tasted better. Honest. Even the pickle tray was amazing -- this is our second one as I forgot to get a picture the first time around when it also had olives. The pink are turnip pickles and I just can't get enough of them. EVERYTHING was impeccable. Truly.
