To The Zoo to Meet Gus

 Independence Day has come and gone and since the weather is semi-decent, we are out early for a trip to the zoo to HOPEFULLY meet Gus.

Upon our arrival, the lemurs are already showing off and we spot the little brown ones that have been noticeably absent for awhile now.

Do you also see the moving boulders?

Gotta get going -- the penguins are also out and in a strange hangout spot.  Hmmm - well at least they are up close.

Onto the hippos ---- and YAY!!!  Gus is out with the gals.

Not a lot of killer pics, but we sure enjoyed watching them for a bit.  Now - out of here before it's so warm we start melting.  That's the advantage of a membership.  Love it so much.
