Music in the Garden and PUMPKINS!!

The last two days have just been so hard.  Going walking surrounded by beauty and listening to music seems as though it may lift our hearts a bit and help to revive our ability to continue with all that must be done.  The Dallas Arboretum has a special members-only event tonight and we are going to just enjoy.  Not only do we have the chance to hear the music throughout the gardens, but Autumn at the Arboretum is never to be missed.  I do so love this time of year.

Walk with us and enjoy the special beauty that dusk lighting provides.  Look at the size of these elephant ears.

So, so peaceful.

Each year I love this color combination more and more.

The main display on the large green is "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."  I am enthralled and need to walk through the whole area. Say hey, Pigpen.

I kind of identify with Peppermint Patty -- no idea why.

All the varieties just have to be admired.  They are stunning.

Okay --- back to the gardens now.

We are now chasing the sun and trying to catch any spot to see the sunset, but it's not meant to be.

This is as much as I can get by peeking through fences and trees.

And that's it.  We head back to one of the music venues, settle in and enjoy some jazz for the rest of the evening.  Recentering --- it's necessary at times.
