Welcome Back Colorado Boys - Days 14 & 15

Dang, it's our last full day together.  Well dang it anyway.  Let's make it a good one.  After a little discussion, we've decided to zip over to the Fort Worth Stockyards and then Raef and I have a second stop in mind.  Hello Fort Worth.

Welcome Back Colorado Boys - Days 12 & 13

Only one request for the day.  And a surprise from me.  The boys would like to bounce their brains out at Jumpstreet today.  Since Grandpa is working from home, we need to get out of the house anyway and letting the energy loose seems like the perfect solution.

Welcome Back Colorado Boys - Days 10 & 11

Okay -- today is THE day.  We are going to sew pajamas until they are finished, no matter how long it takes.  Well, at least that is MY plan.  Getting the boys to settle down and start in is a different matter.  Surprisingly, the first one out to work is Caleb.  I give him some leftover fabric to practice on so that he remembers how the machine works and then we are off.

He does such a great job and is the first one with a completed set of pj's.

Roses in the Yard

Each year for my birthday, Jen gives me a mini-rose plant.  They are blooming so pretty right now.

Welcome Back Colorado Boys - Days 8 & 9

So, in theory the boys were originally supposed to leave in two days, but with the change, we are just gonna keep on rolling.  Grandpa lets me sleep in today and they are off to the coffee shop for breakfast.  I sure do love that man.

Welcome Back Colorado Boys - Day 7 with Cousins

Today we are going to have fun with the cousins.  Splash Kingdom is on the agenda and Jen is meeting us there.  She gets delayed a bit so we have some time to kill and make a stop at the Fort Worth Water Gardens.  I love this place so much.  It's been a few years since the boys have been here and Caleb doesn't remember it at all.  I guess that means it's good idea.

The first couple of times I brought kids here, I constantly worried about them falling in.  It didn't happen so I'm not quite the nervous nellie that I was then.
