Arboretum Walking

It seems as though life went crazy in April and is just now returning a wee bit.  It's our first trip back to the Arboretum since Dallas Blooms and I'm oh so ready to just walk and take in the serenity and beauty of this magical place.

It's quiet today - that's nice.  It makes for fun pictures where it appears we are the only people here.

Banana trees in front of blooming crepe myrtles.  Lovely.

These are such a favorite tree of mine.  From here you can see the beauty on top.

If I get closer in, not so much, but the pink ground is pretty cool as well and the overhead branches have their own kind of beauty.

Somewhere in between.

I'm not sure which of us was watching the other more.

Bright, bright coleus.

Simply gorgeous Giant Hibiscus.

The koi think I work here - they all came to visit.

Mister - always watching.

We always wonder where are the little babies go when they leave the nursery under the waterfall.  Well, today we spotted a large group of them out by the lily pads.

What type of standoff is this?

I feel as though I'm being watched by everything today.

One quick look at the vegies and then we are off.  It's already dang warm.  See ya around.
