Happy May Day!!! We ae still in Montana and enjoying the pretty day. Mom has a doctor's appointment and a grocery stop happens. In the afternoon, Mister and I take a walk to clear the cobwebs and move the muscles. It's necessary every so often. Along the way, we spotted this mushroom. Is it a mushroom? I don't know. Crazy, right?
Ahhhhh - water always calms my soul.
Little wildflowers -
Plaid Mister heading to the water. There are times that I am sure he loves it here even more than I do. He'd move up here in a heartbeat if we could go back to 2019 prices. COVID killed any hopes for us here.
Water is pretty dang low.
2nd - Our adventure today is a drive up to Olney to meet up with Matt and his family. They are bringing a load of items up to their new house and finishing up with some meetings. Mom comes along with us so that she can see his new house, too. First stop is lunch.
Parking lot moments that make my heart swell. I wish I'd had a video of Zyra coming to hug me when they arrived.
Now to see what's changed at Matt's house - how close is it to them moving in? We park at the guest house and walk over.
Grandpa has found a way to get outside.
So, that means a few pictures from his view down by the creek.
My view of him, lol.
Fun outside --- she wore him down in case you were wondering.
It is truly beautiful here.
Becca and the dogs down at the creek. This is the dogs first visit here, I think.
We spend some time just chatting and then need to take a few pictures before the return trip to Mom's. Not near enough time here, but we'll get that in the future.
He can't have all the fun.
The drive back is nice and when we arrive the light is perfect for cherry blossoms on Sis' trees.
Mister and I sneak away for a bit of couple time - head to the lake.
Canadian geese with littles - how fun. Blurry pic though - sorry.
3rd - Yesterday, I enjoyed the cherry blossoms so much that we are taking a drive down the lakeshore today just to see them. Mom is along for the pretty ride. Aren't they beautiful?
The hills are just covered with trees. Love it and it brings back so, so many memories.
Birthday flowers from Jen when we get home, my heart is happy - Spaghetti for dinner. It was a good weekend.
