Mister Finds a Friend

A renewed effort to walk is taking place in our house again.  Yes, again.  Wouldn't it be awesome if restarts weren't necessary?  At any rate, while we were on the way home Mister flinched and said to me, "What is on my shoulder?"  I took a look and so should you.

Yep, it stayed there the whole walk, crawling up his neck, over his ear and onto his cap.  The entire cap was checked out but Mister's friend stayed on it's high post until we reached the yard.  We now have this lovely praying mantis enjoying our herb garden.

And while I was outside, I took a few pictures.  The light on the grass looks cool as does the butterfly bush which has just taken OFF with all the rain we've had.  Pretty, pretty, pretty.
