Thanksgiving Family Fun 2024

 We are off to Abilene for Thanksgiving with Jen and family.  It will be an overnight so lots of family time ahead.

A safe arrival and time spent chatting before turning to games.  Ransom Notes wins and much laughter follows.  Also - it got a bit naughty.

Cooking follows and soon we are preparing the table for our Thanksgiving dinner.

Everything is coming together with lots of help.

We grab photos whenever we can - Mister is doing a great job this year.

After our wonderful meal and during cleanup - shenanigans ensue.

Jen even gets into the scene with a silly game where you have a mouth full of water and slap each other with tortillas to see who lasts longest.  Crazy, right?

Jared and Jon go next - just so ya know - none of my pictures turned out, but Mister managed to get some good ones.

More games and a fun evening followed.   The next day we are tasked with putting together Jen's midarm machine and frame.  One would think I could remember just how it goes, but it is a bit of a puzzle and takes some time, but the boys are great at helping and I'm so thankful for that.

It's up.  Now she just needs to play and learn all the ins and outs of quilting this way.  Ouiser can be a bit testy at times, but once you get comfortable with her, she works beautifully.

After our drive home, we kept our Black Friday tradition alive with a quick stop.  Onto the next event.
